CJ or Munchak?

Oct 12, 2012

Kevin brings up a good point with Chris Johnson and will he ever get back to a rushing phenom like he was back in 2009. After I did some research I noticed a correlation with him rushing as well as who the coach was. When Jeff Fisher was the coach Chris Johnson made constant improvements each year, of course leading to 2009 when he posted 2004 rushing yards with 358 attempts, 14 TD's, and averaging around 125 yards a game. Since Jeff Fisher has left the titans organization and Mike Munchak has taken over every stat across the board has been going down for C.J. I think people never realize just how important a coach is to the team--i.e. the New Orleans Saints. Although Mike Munchak was part of the organization while Coach Fisher was there, maybe with the change it ended up helping the team and hurting Chris Johnson. Jeff Fisher's situation was very similar to Washington Redskins Head Coach Mike Shanahan when he was in Denver. Although Denver was a winning franchise they weren't getting to the Superbowl which of course is the end all goal for all NFL Football teams--Granted Shanahan brought two Lombardi Trophies to the Denver area I guess that wasn't good enough? So, I say Chris Johnson is AN Elite RB. I say Mike Munchak, how are you going to push and motivate your star to living up to his potential? I sure as hell haven't seen any progress in the past two years! Maybe its time to do a trade Munchak for Fisher straight up! May not be going to the bowl but at least the Tennessee Fans' can see there RB be the back he is!
