Top 5 OVERRATED Teams

Oct 27, 2012

After the ESPN overrated top players, and "NY's Finest" topping it off at Number 1 + 2--Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez--It started getting me thinking about overrated teams that flood the NFL. I can tell you one person who sure as hell isn't over-rated... RG3! RG3! RG3! Ok, maybe that was three times...

Here are my top 5 2012-2013 Over-rated Teams in the NFL:

5.Minnesota Vikings:

The first reason I am putting them as a very overrated team is because I had them on two of my Fantasy teams, one of the "TOP" Defense's in the league... and you get me -2 and -5 for points! you disgust me, and not only were you horrible this week you ran around looking like a bunch of Barney's with there Head's cut off.

Emotions aside the only person saying that the Vikings are good is Bill Parcell's with a record of 5-3. Bill always said it is the record that tells a team, and I don't think the NFL can be seen that way anymore. the Vikings have been sub-par on the road and shown that they are a vulnerable at home, and can be beat. They can and will start to lose a home. Furthermore they only have two play makers on offense. Eventually your defense can't do it all they have to be able to put up points. The only two play makers I see are Percy and Adrian. If these two are taken out of the game then nothing is happening on offense. It takes a team to win, and Bill... these two might be 5-3 but in my eyes they're lucky and should be 3-5.

4.Arizona Cardinals:

The Arizona Cardinals started off hot and looked like they were the Superbowl caliber team they once were while under Kurt Warner. Well guys, Kurt is still in the NFL but working his mouth and not his arm. Yes beating Bill, Tom, and the Patriots in Foxboro on opening day are a statement saying, "Yes we can!" But, since then the only thing saying yes we can is the Defense, because the offense is sure showing that they can't. With the lack of a running game, and now being plagued by injury at the QB position, I start to see this team as being the typical ole Cardinals who are decent at best. Until they can control the game on the ground, and have a clear starting QB to get it to Fitzy I don't see this team flying High over the NFL for quite some time.

3.Baltimore Ravens:

Just give up Ravens, Flacco is a bum and your defense has showed that they lack depth and rely a great deal on there Pro-Bowl and possible future hall of famer Ray Lewis. Yes Ed Reed is still there, but he is old and a little banged up he can only do so much and not the leader of the defense. Raven's fans can only hope that Ray and His Eligant pump up speech's can save the day and inspire this team to allow them to win. This team has been "Superbowl Bound" fonr the past years. Always coming up short, or beating themselves. Although this team is not going to be pulling anymore cundif's I believe that they start to wake up and smell the coffee something has to change because this team is not cutting it. Flacco has never even shown that he can pull through in the clutch, and often put up big games but followed them up with subpar performances the next week. This isn't just an overrate team this year, it's been for the past three years. Just face it Raven's fan's the new team in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia goes by the name of the Redskins. Step aside, because soon enough the Redskins will be shooting down those Ravens.

2.Philadelphia Eagles:

Just so we don't get them mixed up the Dream Team had MJ and Magic on them. Vick has been up the numbers to keep them in the game but his fumbles and interceptions have proven costly this year. McCoy is still rushing consistently but not really living up to his full potential from years past. The Philadelphia D got rid of Asante Samuel since they had "TOO" Much Talent. I'm so sick of hearing about how they're winning the NFC East and how they are so great. The only team anyone should be saying that about in the NFC East is the NY Giants. That team has at least proven they're legit, but with the emergence of RG3 that maybe different moving forward. I see the Philadelphia team being good. The firing of there D Coordinator is a good start but is it the only changes to come? Philadelphia is ALWAYS in the playoff picture, and being named Superbowl Favorites much like those Ravens I spoke about earlier in this post. Yes they did make it to the Bowl with Mcnabb but much like Kurt Warner he is also working out his mouth on the NFL Network. This team has been consistently over rated and after this year I see them going no-where. Well maybe back to Cleveland oh wait.... NOT.

1.NY Jets:

The only thing that people talk about in NY about the Jet's is there Defense. Well that is because they're is no offense and the players they have are so streaky, inconstant, and sometimes just flat out horrible. To top of the week that Tebow and Sanchez were dubbed tweetle dee and tweetle dumper, lets add the whole team to the barftastic overly rated team. There running game... Inconsistent. They're passing game.... Inconsistent. They're Defense.... Decent. Granted Revis being out is a major part to this. The only reason people talk about the Jet's is because they're in NY and the Ugly Sister to the NY Giants. It's like one of those deals when you go to a bar to pick up a chick and you see a smoking hot chick hanging out with a butt ugly girl. The Ugly Girl... IS THE JETS. The only reason they're in NY is to make the Giants look better. The only hope the Jet's have this year is that Joe Namath gets drunk on TV again so that they can start talking about that, and stop talking about the team.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, and have a fun Sunday in front of the TV rooting for your home team. If you're heading out to the games, eat a sausage and chug a couple beers for me. Maybe if you're lucky you're team will make it onto the list next year! Be easy, I'm out.
